OMB Summer Playdate Series :: The Wonder Nook {Recap}

0
Omaha Moms Blog was thrilled to partner with The Wonder Nook for a playdate in our Summer Playdate Series. All opinions are 100% our own.

Another fun playdate to add to the books for our 2017 Summer Playdate Series!  This time at The Wonder Nook! Tina and Kassandra at The Wonder Nook put on a fantastic Luau Party for our kiddos! We all started out together for a story. Then the kids were split up into two groups and rotated half way through so everyone enjoyed all the activities. The first group made colorful lei bracelets that they wore around their ankles. Check out the pictures to see how creative everyone was! No Luau is complete without dancing, so after finishing their lei bracelets everyone danced to music!

The second group worked hard coloring masks and shells. The pictures show how serious the kids were when creating their beautiful designs! After finishing their projects, everyone refreshed by eating a yummy watermelon snack!

Genevieve is the owner and founder of Omaha Mom. She was born in Michigan, raised in Iowa, and calls Omaha “home”. That makes her a midwestern girl at heart. Genevieve is wife to Jim and mother to Jeremiah (2013) and Arielle (2015). They are a family that work hard and play harder! Genevieve learned first hand how important having a “mom tribe”, or a “village” is to being a mother. When Genevieve and family are not out exploring everything Omaha has to offer, you will find them cuddled up with a book, running around in circles, playing in the backyard or showing off their crazy dance moves!
