It’s National Coffee Day! Local Omaha Coffee Houses You’ve Gotta Try

Local Omaha Coffee ShopsSo, you find yourself with more than a few minutes to drive through for your favorite caffeinated drink. Huzzah! You want something a little more than a quick trip to a national chain. You know, something with some atmosphere: a quiet place to work on your laptop, read a book, or visit with a friend. I have some Omaha coffee shop options for you.

Accelerando Coffee House  (Omaha Conservatory of Music) – They have a small area for kids! The bonus is your kids can take music lessons close by!

Archetype Coffee (Blackstone District) – Coffee roasted daily and great atmosphere with music!

Hardy Coffee Co. – (Old Market, Benson, Highlander) – It’s the epitome of the industrial-urban coffee hangout at the Benson location.

Blue line (50th and Underwood) – described as “delicious” by our writer Erika!

Dundee double shot – As moms we all appreciate drive thru! Bonus they often give a kid treat!

Green Beans (Harrison and 168th) – Kids playroom, drive thru, wonderful coffee and food, what else can you ask for?

ROAST Coffeehouse (Aksarben Village) – When the weather is nice, their outside sitting is perfect for enjoying your cup of coffee!

 Sozo’s Coffehouse (1314 Jones Street)- large space including pool tables, meeting rooms, and plenty of tables. Don’t miss out on their comedy nights and live music events.

 TriPointe Coffee House (138 N Washington Street in Historic downtown Papillion) -offers a quieter, suburban feel; like you are sitting in a friend’s cozy living room. Make sure to check out their art walls featuring local artists!
