This is for the Mom that might not know that. This is for my daughter’s other grandmother. The woman who is a mom to me while knowing me enough to know that I’m my own mom’s girl through and through.
Rarely is it just one issue that causes parents to consider to homeschool their children. Often it is a combination of reasons. Schooling at home (or anywhere for that matter) is an extremely personal choice and the reasons for doing so are wide and varied.
As my middle schooler progresses through life, I am learning as much about graceful failures as he is. One thing, as parents, that we have to embrace is the beauty of the productive struggle.
During the holiday season many people reflect on their year and are inspired to donate and give back. The charitable season gets kicked off with #GivingTuesday (November 28) and will continue through the year end.
We have had a wonderful, long journey together. (17 months today to be exact.) Honestly, I didn’t ever think we would make it this long. My thought was by 12 months or so you would get bored with me and be ready to explore life on your own. But you still found a way to need me and so this nursing journey continued.
when I reflect on it-we've had many family get togethers in the last few years that have included added fun because of some simple games. And, its become another way to not only engage but get to know each other better

Holiday traditions are something I hold sacred.  I love all things holidays and all things traditions. Thanksgiving is no exception for me.
