Andrea teaches 5th and 6th grade Reading and Writing and gets to spend summers as a stay-at-home mom. She is also going back to school herself, pursuing a degree in School Library/Media. She is one half of a higher education couple, a mom to identical twin year boys (Avery and Elliot, 2014). Becka enjoys the craziness of twins and the unpredictability of each day. Even with three degrees, most recently a doctorate in higher education, she continues to find herself googling things like “pachycephalosaurus + herbivore” or “excavator vs digger.” With two very energetic and curious boys at home, Becka enjoys the peacefulness of her daily commute to Lincoln where she is an Assistant Director in the Nebraska Business Honors Academy. Becka loves being outdoors in her garden, on the lake with her family, or sitting on the patio with a friend. Her kryptonite is diet coke, peanut m&m’s and a kid free Target trip.CONTRIBUTORBlair Bonczynski is a wife to one, mom to two. Born and raised in the Metro area, she finds great joy in playing intramural sports, listening to a good audio book, figuring out ways to save the environment, and indulging in a craft beer every now and then. She is constantly discovering the joy in the little things.CONTRIBUTORCatherine is a stay at home mom to Henry (2015) and wife to Alex. In her spare time (yeah, right!) Catherine enjoys gardening, decorating, and reading. In her LBC (Life Before Child) Catherine was a TV Reporter. Originally from Chicago, the Harrington’s are happy to call Omaha home. They live in West-O with their Maltese, Austin. Read Catherine's posts here.CONTRIBUTORDanielle was born and raised here in Omaha, but is quick to say, “I’ve been out.” Meaning, she has truly traveled the World. She met her husband in the training room at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Just two months later, she knew he was the one! Danielle and her husband have been married 7 years. They have lived in Virginia, California and now Bennington. Danielle loves to serve behind the scenes. Most days are spent at the local YMCA and home. It takes a lot to shepherd her five children; ages 4, 3, 2, 1, and 4 months, but by God’s grace and the help from family and community they are sustained.CONTRIBUTORDanielle lives in Papillion with her husband Tyler and their two boys, Matthias (April 2016) and Graeme (April 2018). Tyler and Dani met in high school and married soon after, then traveled overseas for several years during her husband’s time as a United States Marine. He is now a Nebraska State Trooper, and Dani is a licensed mental health therapist. She practices part-time in private practice and is passionate about working with complex trauma, motherhood, the military community, and first responders. She has a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education, a master’s degree in adolescent literacy and technology, and she teaches part-time online, but is primarily as stay-at-home mom. Her hobbies include, exploring, reading, swimming, napping, snapping pictures, playing games, baking, and loving on the little men in her life.CONTRIBUTORErica is an Omaha transplant from Northern California and has lived in Omaha off and on since 1993. She is mom to two wonderful children: Olivia (4), and Isaiah (19 months). Because her husband's career requires him being gone for long stretches of time, she has learned to streamline being a career mama while flying solo for months at a time. Her middle school reading students add some excitement to her days, and her kids keep the humor going strong into the evenings. Erica also manages to have a Mary Kay business in her "free time". She has many tips for traveling with small children as well, since she travels internationally with the kiddos at least once a year. She enjoys reading, and belongs to the best book club ever; being active; and sharing an occasional cup of coffee or wine with friends. You'll find her out and about on weekends and evenings embracing every drop of motherhood.CONTRIBUTORErika Hanna resides in Midtown Omaha with her husband Chris and their three kids, Macklin (October 2011), Everly (June 2014), and Henrik (May 2016).
